The Autumnal Equinox arrives at 10:49 AM EDT/ 7:49 AM PDT Saturday, September 22, 2012 when the Sun enters Libra. This is the Nature New Year.

What occurs at the Autumnal Equinox?

At the Autumnal Equinox, the seeds of the next Nature year are planted. We enter a new phase of potential, which will reach fruition in the Summer of 2013.

Why align your consciousness with the Autumnal Equinox?

Consciously acknowledging seasonal changes as they occur assists us to align our consciousness with Natural Time/Spiritual Time. As we do this, our lives move to a higher octave. We learn to flow with the deep rhythms of Mother Earth and the impulses of our Souls. We break free from the restrictions of linear time imposed by the Gregorian calendar. We learn to breathe, feel, make love, slow down and BE. Beingness is the state of the Soul and the portal to Self-realization.

I encourage you to take a few moments at the exact time of the Autumnal Equinox (or as soon as possible thereafter) to synchronize your consciousness with the shift in Nature occurring at that time.

The following is a statement you can use to accomplish this alignment. Tune into Nature as you say it.

I Fully Align My Consciousness

With The Energy, Impulses, Patterns and Purpose

Of the Autumnal Equinox

And Consciously Choose To Do

All That is Required at All Levels

To Support Perfected Manifestation of This Cycle.

What is My Experience with Seasonal Changes?

I have been consciously aligning with the seasonal changes since 1986. I usually gather with my partner, Jonathan, and our closest friends. We light a candle and say the above statement. We do this either in the gardens of La Vie de la Rose or in our spiritual center, located in the midst of the gardens. We take time to allow the energy to settle. Then we celebrate!

For those of you who are new to this practice, I assure you that regardless of the time of day a seasonal change occurs, it is worth being present for. You will learn to sense the shift in energy. It is always so beautiful. Often something noteworthy occurs. One year Jonathan and I were on the island of Kaua’i for Winter Solstice. Moments after the season change, a double rainbow appeared from one end of the island to the other. I wonder how Nature will mark the arrival of Fall this year?
